From there, you can scroll through the list of availble sounds and select a quieter one. Scroll down and tap on Sound & Vibration, then select Default Notification Sound. To make your notification sounds quieter, you will need to open your phone's Settings app. From there, select Notifications and adjust the Volume slider to the desired level. You can also adjust the volume settings for each app separately by goig to Settings > Apps & notifications > App info and then selecting the app you want to adjust. Select a lower volume setting or choose Silent and then tap Apply. Depending on your phone's Android version, you may also need to tap Sound & notification > Notification sound. To make your notifications quieter, you can go to Settings and then tap Sound > Advanced > Default notification sound. If you still can't hear Siri, make sure Ring mode is turned on. If you're using headphones, you can change the volume settings directly from the headset. You can also adjust the volume settings when Siri is speaking by pressing the Volume buttons on the side of your iPhone. This can be adjusted in the Settings app uder Accessibility > Audio/Visual. Siri may be reading your messages quietly because it is set to a low volume setting. By moving this slider to the right, you will increase the announcement volume for both ringer and message alerts. In this section, there is a volume slider that can be dragged to the rigt to raise the volume or dragged to the left to lower it. You'll see a section called Ringer and Alerts. Once you've opened Settings, tap on Sounds. To turn up the announcement volume on your iPhone, you'll need to open the Settings app from the home screen. Increasing Announcement Volume on an iPhone Here you will find a toggle that you can turn off to make Siri's notifications quieter. Under the Siri section, tap Announce Notifications. Once there, scroll down and select Notifications. To make Siri announce your notifications quieter, you can go to the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad. Making Siri Announce Notifications Quieter Note that the ringer preview will come out of your phone even with your AirPods in. This will control the volume of all notifications, including those from messages and other apps, when your AirPods are connected or not. Go to “Settings > Sounds & Haptics”, and then adjust the volume slider to your desired level. To get your AirPods to announce messages louder, you'll need to adjust the notification volume in your device's settings. If you're receiving multiple notifications at once, you can stop Siri from announcing them all by taking out one of your earbuds or removing your headphones.Increasing the Volume of AirPods Announcements If you customize Control Center on your iPhone or iPad to include Announce Notifications, you can use Control Center to turn the feature on or off quickly. Select either Time Sensitive and Direct Messages or All Notifications.On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings > Notifications > Announce Notifications.If the app that you're using classifies a notification as time sensitive or as a direct message, Siri plays a tone, then announces the notification automatically. You can also choose which notifications Siri reads: Siri reads your incoming notifications out loud when your headphones are connected to your iPhone or iPad, you're wearing them, and your device is locked. With this feature turned on, Siri announces incoming notifications from apps such as Messages and Reminders, and from supported third-party apps.
